Basic Mediation Training – Pending Approval for 32 hours of General HRCI Credits

This is an ongoing class and all classes (Option 1: 5 - 8 hour all day sessions or Option2: 8 - 3 hour evening sessions and 1 - 8 hour all day session) must be attended for HRCI Credits.

Start times reflect registration all classes will offically begin 15 minutes after registration opens.

Improve you conflict resolution skills with Basic Mediation Training. The Basic Mediation Training exceeds the current national standards for mediation training and combines lecture, exercises, observations and opportunities to practice your new skills with a certified coach.

By the end of the training you will be able to:

  • Guide two people through the mediation process
  • Facilitate conversations using interest-based negotiation techniques
  • Help people brainstorm win-win solutions
  • Empower others to find workable solutions
  • Identify strategies for working with different conflict management styles
  • Use mediator communication skills (reflection, reframing, open questions and active listening)
